'Whatcha Reading?' Wednesday!

I realize that I took last week off from 'Whatcha Reading?' Wednesday but I have two good reasons.  The first being that it was my birthday and I was focused on basking in my extra year on this earth.  The second reason was that I just didn't feel like it.  Yup.  I was plum tuckered out and took the week off.  So with an extra week I'm sure you all have LOADS of new reads to share, right??

So here's what I was up to last week ....

I finished "The Swan House" by Elizabeth Musser.  I wasn't really thrilled with this book but eventually finished it.   It was one of those books that I had to push myself to finish.

Earlier today I finished "I'll Walk Alone" by Mary Higgins Clark.  I will be reviewing this read very soon!!

Now I'm reading "Bad Boy Jack" by Josephine Cox.   Cox is one of my 'go to' authors when I need an easy, enjoyable read.  She bases most, if not all, off her books in England.  She is a prolific writer and I haven't read all her many books yet.  I received this book from a cereal company that was offering a free book a couple of years ago.  Free book you say??  Sign me up!!

I have no idea what I'll read next.  I have several Jodi Picoult books that I haven't read yet as well many contemporary fiction reads.  What are all of you reading?  Can you suggest a great mystery author?
