There has been A LOT of chatter about this book being a shockingly, twisty Suspense read. I expected to immerse myself into this book and for the first 75% of the book I did! It was extremely fast-paced causing me to turn pages at an alarming rate. I absolutely loved it!
Then there's a big reveal which throws readers for a loop but to me, it felt like all the twists and tension that had been built up had suddenly been reasoned away. I felt jilted to be honest and didn't like how one aspect was used as a plot device. After the shift in the last quarter the momentum peters off and the plot gets a little bizarre - like it was trying to hard to be twisted and impress readers. It just didn't work for me.
I really expected to love this book and for most of it I did. But, in the end, I'm left with mixed feelings. This was a crazy and intense ride for much of the book, but the ending was disappointing. All in all, it was a good read and I enjoyed enough aspects that I'd like to read more from this author.

Book Description from GoodReads: Imagine that your husband has two other wives. You’ve never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you don’t care. Or at least that’s what you’ve told yourself.
But one day, while you’re doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocket—an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it’s another of the wives.
You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you can’t help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then, Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize she’s being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But you’ve never known him to be violent, ever.
Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you go to find the truth? Would you risk your own life?
And who is his mysterious third wife?
I completely agree!! Up until the big "twist" I was really enjoying it but after found myself kinda rolling my eyes!!
