Back Spin

Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series is a win for me (see what I did there, Myron Bolitar fans?) with its twists, humour and memorable characters. I'm catching up on this series' backlist and in this fourth installment, Myron gets involved in solving the kidnapping of the teenage son of a world famous golf pro. 

This was a good read with some tense suspense but it's the characters - Myron, his sadistic BFF Win and sassy Esperanza - that made this book for me. Sadly, Win was sidelined a bit in this book, but we do get some insight into his past which was very satisfying. 

Readers will have a few suspects and red herrings to keep them turning the page. Will you have to suspend disbelief? Sure. Will you have a good and twisty read with snippets that will make you chuckle? Indeed.
