Sensational Sloppy Joes

This is a very easy meal to prepare on those busy weekdays. Some of the ingredients sound odd together but taste great.

1 to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (10 1/2 oz) tomato soup
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tbsp grape jelly
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp celery seed
8 hamburger buns

Brown hamburger and onions, drain. Mix all other ingredients into hamburger. Heat through or put in crock pot.

Layer hamburger buns on a baking sheet. Broil (watching carefully) until they are golden brown. Put buns onto plates; spoon meat mixture over buns. Serve with a green salad.

Originally From: Taste of Home magazine (I did double the amount of tomato soup above because I didn't have a recipe for the remaining 1/2 can of soup and the extra soup just makes this dish a bit saucier).
