The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Truth be told, I have only read a handful of graphic novels in my life. Shocking, I know. But as I was browsing one of my public library's digital content, this Teen graphic novel caught my eye. And how could it not catch my attention (and make me hungry for a cheesy sammie) with the words 'grilled cheese sandwich' in its title?

With cheesy character names like Brie, Ricotta and Zola (Gorgonzola) and tonnes of puns de fromage, this was a oh-so-sweet queer Teen romance. The cute colour illustrations added to the story and it was awesome to read on my new Kobo Clara Colour.

This is a heartwarming sapphic romance that is admittedly cheesy and touches on deeper elements like identity, power and privilege. If you brie-lieve in sweet love stories, don't let this 'gouda' Teen romance pass you by.
